Pros

Great at getting clients for you.

Cons

Too much paperwork not enough money. You’re paid the same amount for doing an individual session for an hour and and evaluation that takes several hours. The company makes $400 plus for an evaluation but pay counselors around $50 an hour. I can write a paragraph for a note for an individual session that lasts an hour and I’m paid $50. I can see a client for over an hour to get the required information and write an evaluation that takes another hour and for all that I am paid $50. I don’t think so.

There are exciting innovations happening at Lucid Lane and we appreciate the opportunity to respond to your feedback. We are re-creating and updating our documentation requirements. Our new platform leverages technology to create greater efficiencies for new counselors learning and those with challenging members. To clarify Lucid Lane pays our counselors their hourly rate for sessions regardless if they are an evaluation or traditional session. Lucid Lane is aware that evaluations can be more time consuming and pays 1 hour and 20 mins for this service. Once the counselor learns the system, the evaluation part is largely a “cut and paste” exercise when the template that we provide is used which even preloads medications. New counselors should allow for a 3 month learning curve. After this learning period, a traditional evaluation should not take more than an hour. Given we were in a developmental stage with our new portal there was a period where doing double work was necessary and time consuming. The comprehensive input was critical for data collection. Counselors who are still a part of the Lucid Lane team are now seeing the outcomes and the benefits that are coming from the added insight from this data.

Pros

Had meet new provider meetings and others to boost morale and explain plans for the company, education, etc. Easy to use EMR, have staff to schedule and relay messages.

Cons

Medical director is very impersonal and promises leadership opportunities and career growth within the organization which are never supported or followed up on. He is difficult to access for questions or problems. I had one patient on my panel the whole year despite being told I could work up to a panel of 10-20. You get paid per patient, pay is low and unsustainable to live on. Lack of personal connection with leadership because thrrr are never any meetings or check-ins for feedback. It’s like they hire you and then don’t care what you do at all. Main person you interact with is an administrative assistant who has little medical experience. Interview process was weird - they interviewed a person along with me who had no medical license.
