Pros
The actual family is very altruistic and donates to various causes in Richmond that can benefit anything from the homeless to supporting the visual arts. The money can be good and depending on your job, you can be exposed to many different ideas and marketing. A good place to learn.
Cons
As someone else mentioned, a very homogeneous group of people.... i.e. white, Christian, conservative, traditional, sheltered, very "Amurican". Note: At least when I was there this is a "values" based company, where you would receive a 50 page personality profile in which a color was assigned to you. That color will be referred to constantly, on a daily basis. If you think this sounds like fun and are relieved that you'll finally get to work with others with values like yours-- go apply!
