Pros
Paid weekly, accrued vacation time, and holiday pay and store wide raffle for employee gifts (such as 3day Disneyland tickets, New TV etc). After 10yrs, get to be on a pension when you leave the company on good terms.
Cons
Abusive or uncaring store manager, Union doesn't do anything when more than one clerk complains about manager. Company does a store wide employee suggestion submission and doesn't even recognize the employee's in the newsletter of where they got the approved ideas from. Made it seem the company came up with the ideas.
No way to advance unless the seniority people step down and many don't.
No employee discount unless its a thanksgiving or Christmas holiday.
