Pros

There are plenty of opportunities to learn, expand your skills, and to take on new challenges - as long as you actively pursue them. The international scope of the company and the matrixed organizational structure have given me the chance to work with cross-functional teams and colleagues from all over the world. My team is incredibly talented, and it’s motivating to work alongside such smart and dedicated colleagues. A lot of the senior management have been promoted from within.

Cons

It's busy and dynamic, and the industry is competitive. It's not a place you'll get bored As a medical technology company, there are a lot of regulatory and other systems that can be complex to navigate

Pros

You can learn sales skills, talk to different customers, and make more money if you do well.

Cons

There is a lot of pressure to hit numbers and results are not always in your control.

Pros

It at least gets you into a job that can lead you to other things. Definitely not a career builder but a step in the right direction.

Cons

They’ll say you can make a lot of money but I have yet to see one person clear the amount they project. Base salary is fine but devices are so expensive that no one buys them. Sure you’ll make a few sales but it’s a grind and a begging process. Basically chasing leads that go no where and pray one person buys something every few months. There’s a reason no one stays for longer than a year or two. There are like 1-2 reps that do well… and they’ll point you in their direction for interviews but their territories allow for different things than any other territory so they are making more from convenience and location. Fine job but lots of micromanaging and sell sell SELL mentality with no real data to back it.
