Lumension Security

Is this your company?

The company takes advantage of anyone who is not shrewd enough to push back when the expectations become unreasonable. - Anonymous employee Lumension Security Employee Review

Pros

Flexible work hours Work from home Lunch brought in every other week

Cons

Priorities change on a dime, so projects constantly get derailed. Senior management is not building an organization...it's simply slapping a product together in hopes that someone will buy the company so they can cash in. Management says they want to retain good talent, but you have to fight tooth and nail for all forms of compensation.

Pros

The people here are pleasant and a joy to work with. The building is beautiful and has complimentary soda, coffee, catered lunches every other Wednesday and flexible work schedules. The ability to work on new technologies in engineering is refreshing and allows for professional growth. The new CEO(John Ferron) is very open with as much information is legally possible without being just fluff. This is a huge improvement over the previous carryover CEO from NetMotion. The ability to move up is available for those actively seeking it. New benefits are much better with 401K match and better PTO policy.

Cons

A clear vision is actively being constructed for long term growth. Near term future is more clear but that only accounts for the next year. Movement majority of business operation to NetMotion in Seattle has been a tough transition since July 2014 but adjustment is going more smooth lately. New PTO policy is nice but could always be better.
