Pros

I have been working for Luminess in the Customer Service Department for almost 11 years and must say that it is truly a blessing to work for such a wonderful company! When I started with Luminess, customer service only had 8 employees and now we have over 100 and our facility is top of the line and absolutely gorgeous! I absolutely enjoy the fast paced environment and the trust that Luminess has in my skillsets to know that I will get the job done! Oh, did I mention the amazing benefits and competitive pay? Not only does Luminess look out for its employees, but also gives back to those in need. When hurricane Dorian impacted so many families in the Bahamas, my heart was overjoyed to see how Luminess immediately took action and donated much needed safety and hygiene products such as diapers, first aid kits, flashlights, bug spray and so much more! It is a great feeling to work for a company who truly cares and I can honestly say that I LOVE LUMINESS and this is my home away from home! I plan on retiring here! 😊

Cons

I honestly can't think of any cons about working here. I really love my job and the people I work with.

Pros

Some team members are genuinely hard-working and collaborative.

Cons

Lack of Structure: There are no clearly defined job roles, responsibilities, or processes. Employees are frequently shifted from one task to another with little notice or explanation. Unethical Practices: Leadership directs staff to engage in behavior that raises serious ethical concerns. This includes instructions that put employees at risk. Toxic Leadership: Feedback is not welcomed, and decisions are made impulsively, often creating unnecessary chaos and stress. No Accountability: There is no HR department or effective internal oversight. Policies are either nonexistent or ignored. High Turnover: The result is a culture of fear, confusion, and burnout.
