Pros

You'll gain exposure to Amazon and eCommerce operations. If you're early in your career and looking for a structured environment where the expectations are clearly defined, this can be a decent starting point.

Cons

Hiring Philosophy: The company tends to recruit junior talent who are comfortable executing within tightly defined processes. Independent thinking and constructive feedback are not only unwelcome, they can result in being publicly called out in front of colleagues. This creates a culture of compliance rather than collaboration. Top-Heavy Leadership: The co-CEO structure creates challenges. While leadership has strengths in certain areas of the business, people management is a significant blind spot. Decisions flow downward with little room for dialogue, and the tone is set from the top. Advancement is Political, Not Meritocratic: Promotions and growth opportunities are tied to alignment with leadership's preferences, not to individual performance or initiative. If you bring ideas that fall outside of what's already been decided, expect them to be dismissed or worse, held against you. Workplace Culture: The in-office requirement wouldn't be an issue if the environment were engaging, but the atmosphere is sterile and uninviting. There's also a visible divide between corporate staff and warehouse workers. The warehouse team puts in significantly more physical effort and receives noticeably less recognition and respect for it. Compensation: Pay is below market for the roles and expectations involved. Diversity Concerns: Policies and practices around diversity and inclusion felt performative at best and questionable at worst.

We are growing and changes happen quickly, you must tap into your resourcefulness and persistence in getting up to speed quickly. Google, Trainual, Asana, and AI are your friends!

Pros

- Brilliant, hard-working coworkers. Easily the best part of the company. - Supportive, collaborative team culture where people genuinely help each other. - Opportunities to learn from talented colleagues who care about the work.

Cons

- Leadership seems disconnected from reality and ignores employee concerns. - Promotions and career growth are unclear, inconsistent, and constantly moving. Long-time employees who built their teams from scratch are repeatedly passed over for promotions. - Toxic behavior from some managers goes unchecked. Speaking up can backfire and lead to retaliation. - Poor communication. New team members or leadership changes are often announced without warning (or unannounced), leaving employees blindsided and frustrated. - Wins are claimed by leadership, mistakes blamed on the team. - Talented employees are undervalued and frequently leave, creating low morale. Leadership does nothing to prevent this. - Company growth announcements are completely tone-deaf. Teams are understaffed, overworked, and stressed out about supporting yet another client (while not seeing a dime of the new revenue).
