Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. Let me start by taking ownership for your frustration. We'll improve and learn from your feedback. I hope my response shows that we care deeply.
First of all, I'm glad to hear that you believe in our product and recognize the growing love from our customers. To your point on our product strategy, it's very helpful to hear your thoughts. It's key that we keep communicating context and strategy even more visibly. This quarter, we revamped our vision and strategy (you can find them on our Notion Homepage), every team shipped their own team strategy for 2023, we started MBRs to align more frequently on progress towards that strategy, and gave every team an opportunity during our All-Hands to showcase and demo their top priorities. We can do more! Thanks for nudging me here.
I'm sorry to hear that you feel pushback when voicing a differing opinion. That is not the company's intent, but I understand that intentions don't necessarily translate into impact. This is something I care a lot about, as diversity of thought and open communication are essential to fostering a healthy and transparent company culture and directly impact our end product. I'd love your suggestions on how we can improve here.
Regarding our recent separation with an employee, I want to assure you that such decisions are never easy nor taken lightly. And in the interest of every person involved, we keep all matters confidential and cannot share details. Nevertheless, I can imagine you may still be feeling unsettled. If you'd like to speak to someone to share your concerns, I'd encourage you to reach out to your manager or the People Team.
Again, I wanted to thank you for your feedback. I encourage you to continue voicing your thoughts and opinions to me, your manager, the People team, and through our various feedback forums. If you feel comfortable, I'd also be happy to connect over a coffee to hear more of your thoughts.
All good things,
Andrej / CEO
