Pros
They have much belief in their employees and you learn by doing. You get much responsibility and go on meetings and prospect companies that a junior employee would not get the trust to to at other companies. They have a well established trainee program that gives you a great base of knowledge and insight in the company. Also some good practical training. They have a very strong culture within the company with very well defined values which should make it easier for a candidate to decide if this is the right company for you. They have a great competitive advantage when it comes to customization the solution for the customers needs. Most of the competitors have a hard time to deliver a solution that is that customized for the customer.
Cons
Low salary and commission (also a very complex commission model). The strong culture was established when the company was much smaller and they have not adapted this to the fast growth and increase of employees with I would say is a limitation for continued growth. They need to adapt the culture and company feeling to a big company that they today are. Since they also believe som strongly in their culture they have very little interest in listening to other thought and ideas. Their is a lack of ambition and drive within the sales organization. They were very late in developing and pivoting their business to become a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) provider. This is a big demand from the market and today they cannot offer the same functionality and customization in the SaaS solution they are now developing.
