Pros

Lupine Lane is a wonderful school where creativity is embraced. It's a great place to work and offers school year positions or year round positions. The calendar is based on the LTISD school calendar so there are about 7 or 8 weeks off through the year when working year round. There is also a matching 401K plan, benefits and a lot of support. Feels like family.

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

Beautiful school in the heart of a picturesque, hill country neighborhood. Seeing so many families walking, biking, or scootering to school makes me feel like I’m a part of an inviting community. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The bamboo floors, natural wood furniture, and colorful accent walls create a welcoming ambiance for teachers and families. The playground was recently updated with additional turf, new playscape, additional shade, and misting systems around the playscapes. The temperature soars in the summer but there’s plenty of spaces to beat the heat. The owners care about their co-workers and it shows in the way they nurture the talent that teachers, despite experience, bring to the classroom. I have heard and experienced multiple examples of the lengths taken to settle things with families or staff. They go beyond the norm and take careful consideration when dealing with sensitive issues. Families trust in what the school provides. That’s evident when you see multiple siblings, cousins, neighbors, and family friends register for all of their years in preschool. I have taught 3 children in one family with the 4th coming up soon. The school keeps a well stocked resource room and the majority of classroom supplies are provided. Owners will purchase most supplies outside of the norm and will go above and beyond to facilitate the needs of the class. Lunch is provided. The food is freshly prepared from raw ingredients and the monthly menus are crafted from different regions of the world which coincide with the cultural lessons. Teachers eat with the children, family style, in the great room alongside one or two other classes. Safety and security are a priority. Their pandemic response was incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure the well being of the staff, students, and families. The owner, Lauren Boyle, spent her time setting up vaccination appointments for the community when they first started and the school hosted three vaccination clinics. I am so happy and fortunate to be apart of this community.

Cons

I can’t think of any.

Very good working environment. the directors seek to expand the minds of children in a comprehensive way. I consider it very necessary today. (values, other cultures, social skills). Very good quality of education for preschool children.
