Pros

Soon to be removed working from home

Cons

This company is a train wreck in slow motion, with a CEO who treats it like his personal fiefdom rather than a professional business. The rampant hiring of incompetent family members and friends, who are rewarded with cushy, high-paying roles despite their complete lack of qualifications or capability, is a disgrace. It's clear that merit and talent have been thrown out of the window in favour of cronyism and nepotism. The result? A bloated, ineffective workforce that is incapable of delivering results. The leadership team is an absolute joke. While they may talk a lot, none of them can actually do the work. There's a constant stream of empty promises and meaningless buzzwords about building a "great culture", but the reality is far darker. Employees are being crushed under the weight of endless pressure, grueling hours, and an utterly clueless management team. The so-called "culture" is nothing but a PR stunt to distract from the chaos brewing behind the scenes. The CEO's obsession with self-promotion and making himself look good has blinded him to the company's rapid collapse. His focus is entirely on sales pitches and creating a facade of success, while the foundation of the company crumbles beneath him. He's utterly shortsighted, obsessed with appearance and personal gain, while steering the company straight into disaster. The writing is on the wall, but he's too lousy looking in the mirror to notice. Meanwhile, the senior staff has developed into a pit of ruthless, self-serving political games, instead of focusing on the company's survival, they're obsessed with securing top spots in the C-suite, fighting over roles like the next CTO of CFO. This internal power struggle has created a toxic, hostile environment where genuine progress is impossible, and it's all happening at the expenses of the company's future. The result of this appalling leadership? A mass exodus of senior talent. The Head of Sales has left. Two Heads of Product have left. The Head of Human Resources has left. And soon, another key executive will follow. It's clear that the company is hemorrhaging its most experienced leaders because they can no longer stomach the incompetence and dysfunction at the top.

Pros

Once you become accustomed to the culture, it is a delightful place to work. The technology is not the most cutting edge, but one advantage is you have ample time and opportunity to explore them and expand your technical knowledge. There is also ample opportunity to connect and chill with your colleagues and enjoy a flexible work environment.

Cons

The employees find the management is inconsistent. While they want us to work hard, there is a lack of a robust strategic plan to bring us towards IPO. More attention is spent on cosmetic activities such as creating more processes and more structure which indirectly lead to more red tape, introducing sleek family company values, adding SIA business class seats and coffee bar counter, going for overseas management offsite, and even planning to build a new office and more.
