      Pros

      good benefits, nice office located in central Bath

      Cons

      Since the takeover by M&G things have been going downhill, more and more back office roles being outsourced to India, IT roles being fulfilled by Accenture, all the time M&G mgmt are pushing for more work to be done quicker and dont take the time to listen and understand what the blockers are. I expect the Bath office to be closed within a year or 2 unfortunately and Ascentric will no longer exist.

      Pros

      Supportive senior managers, culture has greatly improved. New CEO is superb, engaging and energetic. Strategy now delivering results and likely to get a head of steam. Good teamwork & friendly people.

      Cons

      limited career progression, constant change & lack of stability - employees focus on the here and now, always waiting for the next round of "right sizing" is very stressful and leads to high staff turnover. Can be a challenge to progress if you are not in the "magic circle".
