To the Author: We appreciate all feedback even when it is critical. If you don't want to talk with me, please reach out to someone else who you trust to listen objectively. To the Reader: We have hired family and will no doubt continue. This is a privately held company, started by a family in the business and grown from a small family owned entity to a much larger organization. However, we don't wish to lose the family feel and we hire qualified people who apply, less than 5 are family members and the rest are people who are not known to us until we interview them unless they were referred by an employee. We often hire employee 's children for internships and we feel this is a great way to help our own work family as well as other young aspiring professionals to explore their careers.
