Pros
World class product, infrastructure and internal support for sales. Marketing team is hands on, supportive and gets incredible data to you. Field sales is mostly virtual and as long as sales and CRM numbers hit, you will generally be left alone. Good collaboration on sales teams and most inside sales support is top notch.
Cons
You had better like to spend a lot of time in the CRM, Salesforce.com. Management insisted upon a canned sales pitch approach to be done at every sales call, even if you have nothing to sell. Some sales managers are woefully divorced from the everyday stresses and needs of shippers and instead focus on how "the sales process" was followed, than actually caring about service delivery. The pay is below industry for some, especially for new hires to sales.
