Pros

The company is constantly seeking new opportunities for growth and new ways to help support those in need. The company culture is amazing. Everyone is valued and treated with respect and dignity. Working remotely is laid back and low stress. Since starting here two years ago, I have witnessed MAP make difficult decisions and needed sacrifices to ensure the company is able to continue to provide support services to those in definite need. The company is continuing to grow and is expanding into different networks. MAP is the largest Peer Support company with the most coverage in the USA. This means there is a great advantage and opportunity to help more people that need it when working with MAP. The company promotes from within and I have witnessed numerous co-workers grow into different positions within the company. "MAP’s mission has been to leverage our extensive lived experience in behavioral health and substance misuse to improve personal connection, community health, and healthcare outcomes." We, as a team, get to do this daily with those we support and with those we work alongside. Map maintains this mission with whom they provide support services and also with their employees.

Cons

There aren't many cons to work with MAP. Possibly, working from home and not having the energy of in-person interactions to feed off of. Also, talking on the phone all day might not be for everyone. Difficult conversations with certain clients can be tough sometimes, but the good ones always outweigh these negative ones.
