Pros
MBDA is a long established and growing company in the European defence sector. Its core values and inclusive culture are strongly promoted at all levels. As a place to work at it is friendly and collaborative environment where the level of support given to employees is second to none. Remuneration is very good and promotion prospects are excellent for all who want a long-term career. Of note it Is a particularly valuable employer of ex-UK Armed Forces personnel who find the transition easy given the nature of both MBDA's business and the way the company recognises service leavers' unique skills, be they an RAF junior rank or a retired naval admiral. MBDA's on-site facilities are modern and working practices are very good allowing for an excellent work-life balance. Unusually, all MBDA employees get an annual bonus and the company pension is first rate.
Cons
The only downside is that MBDA is centred in 3 main sites in the UK: Stevenage, Bristol and Bolton/North Manchester. That said, if you live (or want to live) within an hour or so from any of those locations then MBDA should be one of your choices for future employment.
