Awesome coworkers, Rough work environment - Anonymous employee MCF Technology Solutions Employee Review

MCFTech is a great place to work. Being a virtual company, one would think that communication might be difficult. Quite the opposite! We all work together very well, with everyone being amazing at what they do. The business process has changed a lot over the years, but MCF has reached a place where everyone is happy. We collaborate very well and use the best technology to be able to do so. We have a lot of internal support to ensure our jobs are smooth, and we have options for upward mobility within the company, with a lot of internal education options. I am happy to be part of the MCF team!

Hours can run long on some days, but with good time management, this is not frequent.

The ability to wokr from home is very nice. A lot of clients are really great, and understanding and friendly. If you are in Technical division or Project management or even Sales, you can travel around the world to meet with clients and see really great places. The employees are great, and are all dedicated to making the company better, everyone seems to truly care even though management doesn't seem to care much about employees. Management treats employees as replaceable assets all the time.

No clear direction from the two owners. Chaotic business model as they have like 6 sister companies that MCF Technology Solutions employees are expected to support and do work. No organizational structure, no real job defined job titles. Expected to work long hours into the night to work with outsourced employees in the Philippines and India. While we have an "unlimited vacation policy" you are still expected to attend meetings and work during your vacation. As other reviews have stated, be prepared to be yelled at in front of whole company on weekly calls. The CEO thinks he is smarter than everyone else on earth, and will talk down to everyone. If you strongly disagree, he will just fire you. If you're a lower level employee, expect your boss to be fired or quit a few times a year and all their work to become your responsibility.
