Pros
Enormous amount of opportunities to learn, every part of event organising from A-Z. Use of many event management software tools and materials. Most of the staff is young -30 and very international which creates an extended Erasmus feel. Very relaxed and social atmosphere with aproachable management. 2-3 years at this company gives you an incredible skill backpack for your next carreer move.
Cons
No opportunities to advance or grow within the company structure. Despite supposedly 'good numbers', this doesn't translate into the workforce. Promotions are not available for anyone, if they are, expect a 3-5 year interval. For this reason, there is a lot of turnover and knowledgeable people quit, leaving inexperienced people to run things. The company seems to value staff cost over staff value. There is no customized training or onboarding. There is a general onboarding program but to learn your specific position you are left to your own devices and you will not have a trainer/mentor/supervisor. It makes the learning process 6-8 months instead of 2-3 potentially.
