Pros
A few good people left on the regional support level
Cons
Where to start... What was once a leader in the hospitality industry has completely lost its way and transitioned into a poorly managed real estate investor in just a few years. Half of the portfolio is broke and falling apart. What isn't is being sold to stay afloat. The CEO is more concerned about removing bananas and back office doors than successfully running hotels. Company is directed by finance and real estate people who have no clue how to run a hotel because they've never worked in one. They have replaced industry norms like budgets and forecasts with a chart full of thousands of data points showing actual correlations between ridiculous variables. Promote the underpaid and underqualified in order to fill positions due to their reputation. They now have resorted to hiring managers with zero hotel experience in hopes that they won't know any better when they see how the company is being run. Employees are just a number. Communication is horrible. Micro-management is a HUGE understatement. The list goes on and on...
