Pros
There are no pros. They laid off people just months away from retirement without giving them the option of early retirement. This is what they get for 15+ years of loyalty.
Cons
Every level of management is incompetent up to and including the directors. It is time to drain the swamp, unfortunately they are laying off anyone that has a voice of reason or does not fit into their cliques. Very sad as to many good people have been lost and many incompetent managers were retained.
