Management is very poor with the institution. Beware that as a new employee you will be targeted (at least in the department I'm in) and if you haven't made it past your 6 month probationary period, there's nothing you can do. There is not work/life balance. You have to wait 12 months to transfer to a new department. Management does not care about you as a person, they care about themselves.
