Pros
We work in support of a good cause. In IT, you have the chance to be exposed to a huge amount of technologies.
Cons
Upper management (President, CIO, and the level below them) appears to be incompetent. Morale is horrible throughout the institution, including in the IT division. Changes are being made that make no sense, years of improvements are being undone. I would not recommend this as a place to work.
