Pros

I’m encouraged to use the means I see fit to reach my goal - whether it’s the purchase of a device, a software subscription, scripting - everything is on the table and I feel supported even when I offer methods that are unfamiliar or unproven. The team encourages innovation and new ideas. Leadership is focused on growing people rather than supervising human resources and I’m encouraged to take care of myself and feel my colleagues truly care about my well-being. It is always easy to take time off and the team is very flexible with schedules. Leadership is very approachable and I can lean on leadership for direction or corrections. My colleagues make collaboration easy. We all have a different skill set and use that to our advantage. I truly enjoy working with this team.

Cons

I do not have any cons working at METHOD Architects at this time.

Pros

The work is easy and the midtown location makes commute easy. They have fun birthday celebrations. The lower staff were nice people.

Cons

Passive aggressive seniors with big egos. Their senior project manager has a very tough guy attitude and just dumps work on you. Does not appreciate any opinions and solutions beside his own. Has horrible taste but thinks otherwise. Seniors and principals are not together. Leaders for this firm had three people. One had a very indifferent personality, the other principal has control issues, and the last principal was always frustrated. I thought the frustrated principal was very talented and knowledge. I did learn a lot from him and thought he was very good, but it was difficult to watch him often argue with the other principal over design and procedures. I felt sorry for him, as he was wasting his talent there. Apparently he was in charge of design but not really. I was often confused as to who I went to for approval. I would get comments and feedback from one principal and contradicting comments from the other, especially when it came to design questions. It was just a mess.
