      Pros

      Many long-term employees. Close-knit workforce is like a family...if you are considered part of the family. Greatly loved by a steadfast core audience. Fantastic work-life balance -- a very flexible workplace that cares about its employees.

      Cons

      Just as with any real family, there are the dysfunctional members. They romp around like incontinent tyrannosaurs, steamrolling others. Lack of direction hits you in the face every day — the place runs on miracle juice squeezed from a few loyal long-time employees.

      Pros

      Extremely flexible, nice co-workers, relaxed environment, not really stressful, gain experience with Final Cut Pro, watch foreign tv series

      Cons

      minimum wage (but you're honestly not doing too much), not too much interaction with people (could be a pro, too)

      Pros

      Great mission - bringing international news to an American audience. Work/Life balance is also great (but maybe for not-so-good reasons)

      Cons

      dysfunctional. People are unmotivated and aren't held accountable for their responsibilities. Admittedly, the company's relationship with Corporation for Public Broadcasting is an obstacle.
