Pros
Young, fast-paced and informal environment!
Cons
Over the past three years, the product has undergone several major changes, alongside frequent shifts in management, product direction, and the overall vision regarding people and performance. Individuals can move very quickly from being considered central contributors to being labelled as low performers, often without clear or substantiated reasoning. There is a general lack of transparency in decision-making processes. Leads are not consistently put in a position to effectively act as people managers, while continuous budget cuts further limit their ability to support and develop their teams. Throughout this time, I have never received structured feedback nor clear communication regarding career opportunities or progression. Despite previously receiving very positive evaluations, I was reclassified as a low performer within 15 days, immediately following my manager’s resignation, without any concrete explanation or supporting evidence. As a result, my former manager was unable to support or advocate for me, leaving me in a situation that had a severe emotional impact.
