1yCongrats on more than 2 years of contribution to MITRE’s mission of solving problems for a safer world. Collaboration is a cornerstone of our culture, and we are proud to actively partner with our staff to provide opportunities for networking and connection in the spirit of innovating together. Throughout the year, we host dozens of employee-focused events that foster relationship building and exploration of the many projects that MITRE employees can put their skillsets against. As a non-for profit working in partnership with the federal government, we take time-keeping management very seriously. Whether supporting one project at a time or many projects simultaneously, our staff are required to maintain accurate records of hours worked and absences used in support of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (Wage and Hour Law) as well as applicable state and local laws.
