Pros
+ a lot of time off granted through company off days, in addition to your standard Holidays and PTO + 401k with match + diversity of projects at any given time keeps things interesting + interesting opportunities for work travel on said projects + opportunity to do a lot of client facing if interested + surrounded by great, ambitious , young coworkers with great sense of humor + love the location
Cons
+ poor health insurance with no options + meetings/deliverables rarely happen on time due to poor time management and/or lack of respect by the senior management, which sets a bad tone for the entire firm + end of projects leave a lot to be desired and often don't result in anything impactful happening + too much emphasis on marketing, branding, and vision-setting, and not enough emphasis on tangible results and client satisfaction + surprisingly rigid company hierarchy with its share of bureaucracy for a small firm + too much of business is based on relationships at the executive level rather than consumer driven need for services + no formal mentorship, and the feeling that senior management doesn't have time for you + salary is below market rates for the Bay Area + little integrity at the senior management level. *integrity defined as what is said is not done, and there is no one to hold them accountable
