Pros

I am currently a Senior section leader at the company. I have worked for this company for a few years. .. The company is always willing to find new staff and the majority of basic ops are good, honest people.

Cons

There is a HUGE staff turnover! There is no operational training for any staff. This is extremely prominent in production, the warehouse and dispatch / intake environments. Despite multiple request this has remained the same. Warehouse is significantly understaffed. Holidays are held to ransom or removed by the company even after they have been approved. Manager and his second in command instill a culture of bullying within the company. Nick names are created to discredit certain employees and are labelled as banter. Foreign nationalities criticised in the warehouse. Threats of violence made by both individuals mentioned and employees relieved of position if they comment on certain behaviour. I have seen 3 senior colleagues relieved of their positions in the warehouse and production for sticking up for operatives in the last 3 months. Certain individuals also discredit others and take credit for the work for their own advancement. One individual in particular is in a senior position with no operational experience of the job role and regularly steals items from the company. Also due to friendship with the Manager he still remains in his post. Overall extremely poor culture and now looking to move else where. What has happened to this once good company?

Pros

if your narrow minded, inexperienced, and poor at your job they'll more then likely promote you. main management are aware of issues within the company maybe one day they'll ask and listen to there shop floor staff when looking for a resolution

Cons

Treat people with little respect, at first during induction process etc everything seems brilliant, informed probably to much about the products they deal with and trying to sell them selves as a great company to work for. after this stage your pretty much on your own when it comes to being shown anything , largely foreign environment, only speaking English is a big disadvantage. standard operating procedures are like they were made by school kids. problems are just ignored or passed on from one person to the next and when a a proposed resolution is put in place its normally poorly thought out and not followed as creates more issues then it solves.
