Cons

Top management has a lack a basic management and leadership skills, the business has no working processes, almost all the VPs are not accountable for their work, there is no tasks management, no or poor controls. It is a medium size business with extreme hierarchy, thinking that they are a fancy start up, but old-school minded and led. Lots of 40+ people meeting where the status is always - "all good", but in reality the status is "a disaster is coming" but everyone is scared to say... There is no culture, values are declared and not actionable.

Compensation is very competitive and above industry average.

Cons

Leadership and management are the worst I have experienced in my career. Micromanagement is widespread, and employees are treated as replaceable rather than valued contributors. There is a clear lack of trust from leadership. Director of Operations openly stated they do not trust field technicians or employees. There is little to no upward support or advocacy for employees. When issues arise, the environment becomes a blame-focused culture rather than one centered on problem-solving or learning. Mistakes are met with reprimands rather than coaching or development. There is no positive reinforcement, and growth opportunities are limited due to the leadership style. Employees are often encouraged to disengage rather than improve, which speaks volumes about the environment. Turnover is extremely high. The highest I have seen and morale is consistently low. Many employees appear burned out and dissatisfied.
