High standard of service Beautiful properties Relatively inclusive environment

Openly verbally abusive management, Junior staff are bullied and belittled. Environment of constant fear and anxiety. Crying, shouting and walk outs are everyday events. Management oscillates from a complete lack of support and investment to intense micromanagement and scrutiny. Highly unprofessional executives who disparage their employees to other staff members. A culture of rewards based on favouritism and nepotism over experience and hard work. High staff turnover and consistently understaffed. Hospitality staff receive low wages, especially compared to similar establishments. Unpaid overtime is expected. Staff perform duties outside of their contracted work with no compensation. Regular cost cutting for junior staff benefits while seniors receive raises. Company focus is expansion and growth rather than nurturing existing businesses. There is intense backlash to any feedback and complaints to human resources. There is a lack of communication on every level, from larger financial decisions to everyday operations that makes it an incredibly unpredictable and stressful environment.
