Pros
Some wonderful, talented people trying to help company grow. Compan yitself trying to grow but needs lot of help and organization. Finally some of sr management waking up to challenge the more chaotic, abusive even, colleagues, some of whom are finally starting to wake up and move to companies which they can more easily handle. Some of it all still a strange golf club of associations and laziness.
Cons
A very unhappy and divisive middle management. Often paranoid and irritated. NOt very reliable. Scant communication and support in many areas at times. And a lot of uncaring sr. managers. Relying too much on an outsourced so-called team structure. So it takes twice as long to get anything done. From design, debugging to just about everything on sales, licensing and admin, things go way too slowly and fragmented. All in the name of saving money and increasing share earnings, when in the end it all just costs more money from delays and incredible mistrust. Oh and did anyone think of market share? Hostile work environments have easily resulted from inexperienced and unsupervised managers. A really questionable schedule of team goals. Strange divisive paranoid corporate services. And project managers who really don't have great technical background or appreciation, but are insanely political and full of smiles. It's miracle anything gets done.
