Pros

The pay was "ok." MV had three separate locations in NYC, and multiple offices throughout the East Coast. The work was bearable. MV offered PTOs and vacations.

Cons

The MTA yanked their contract in NYC. MV was hit with large fines. The place seemed like a revolving door at times. There was no sense of management! The vehicles weren't properly maintained properly most of the time and there wasn't much camaraderie, in general. Financially, It wasn't on an upward spiral. People were either fired or allowed to leave. After researching MVs history, I noticed its turn over rate. MV appeared in court quite a few times! The ATU 1181 union was a pathetic joke! The shop-steward and union delegate didn't know their head from their elbow. The NLRB decided they couldn't step in. Can picture a place that allows important info to be communicated without any kind of 2FA? MV was reportedly around for like 15 years in NYC. It seems like a place that can only operate in certain areas.

Excellent leadership development. Oppertunties throughout the United States. Excellent compensation package. Excellent regional support.

Cons

A little slow paying earned bonuses. There could be more local autonomy for leaders.
