MAC Medical offers break times above the current law requirement. For a standard 8 hour shift employees report to their stations Before scheduled start time. One 10 minute break is given before lunch break and one after lunch. If overtime is worked an additional break is allowed. Employees are required to stay in their work space until break and be back ready to work before it ends. The facility is kept at 78 degrees F through summer and 72 degrees F during winter. There are no hot or cold employees working under these conditions. We do offer time off for the loss of immidiate family. It’s unfortunate that some employees in the past would fake a death to receive benefits. One employee three times.... When these things occur rules are put into place. The way we treat people is fair and above any standard. Everyone gets uniforms, all PPE, 11 holiday days, extended holidays when production allows, pto, medical, dental, life, short and long term disability, vision, 401k with match.
