Pros
Nice area Lots of access to the outdoors and nature Good pay plus tips Easy commute
Cons
Management are way too personal with staff members and are unfair to new starts, i was there 2 weeks when a manager on shift told me i was allowed to take a can of cider home as it was damaged and wouldnt be sold, i was then taken to the office 4 days later and told it was unnacceptable behaviour and that i should have spoken to the higher up manager. Although i had recieved no prior training/advisment on the companys policy or feelings on staff taking disregarded beverages home with them. Living conditions, i found rat droppings in my set of drawers, had to scrub and bleach the shower drain, i had no door handles on my wardrobe doors in my room. In addition to all that i wasnt allowed to lock my front door of the accomodation as they needed access into the flat for extra housekeeping supplies they kept in and around the flat. After asking about it several times each time i was told it was fine because nobody else locks their doors...so i should be okay with it, did i forget to mention they never checked that the accomodation was supplied with gas for me to use the provided kitchen? They gave me a toaster, air fryer, a microwave and a kettle and said they would sort it when they could. Unco-ordination in regards to staff job roles during work.
