Pros

-Ben Bradley is a fast-moving flexible thinker. His communication style is direct, yet attentive and thoughtful. During my interview with him, I immediately took note of this. His communication style works well with me. I think many people who don't want to deal with fluff and who wish to speak authentically can relate to this. -Flexible work hours and environment. No dress code, no silly work rules. -This is a pro and a con depending on your motivations - if you're amped about web analytics, fast-paced projects, invisible (at times) web writing (content, traffic, etc), and the tech world, this could be a dream job for you. For me, it didn't speak to my motivation. I know when I'm at my best, and my style of work in design/writing has a more concrete presence. I just personally couldn't grasp it. -Small staff, but everyone is friendly and pleasant. -Create your own hours, possibility for growth, and pay-for-performance. -Create your own path and adventure. -Ben Bradley's management style is hands-off. This was my first in-office position after many years being self-employed. I was worried initially about returning to structure, and navigating things such as PTO days, sick days, etc., but the work environment felt really free and natural. No pressure, and flexible with life events that might distract from being on time or in the office everyday.

Cons

-I wouldn't necessarily define this as a con, but there's a certain niche of person this company might attract. If you are excitable about web content and marketing, I'm certain this would be a great fit. I didn't naturally possess the skills I think for my role as copywriter at Macon Raine.
