Cons
My family member worked at this company for a while, and I have to say, the experience was disappointing. It was clear that professionalism wasn't a priority for them.
For starters, management and HR employee Erin do not know Texas TWC rules or they do not care. When a former employee has to tell management and Human Resources that they are supposed to issue your last check within 6 business days of termination, after being told you could pick it up the next scheduled payday, there is a problem. When the call finally came that a paycheck was ready, you might go to the office expecting your last check, but you get a direct deposit pay stub instead of a live check. They could easily have mailed that, however, a call was received that a "check" was ready. By the way, direct deposit came on Thursday normally, so they couldn't care less about TWC compliance as the next day was the regular scheduled payday.
As for wages, the cheaper you are, you will definitely be hired. You will be promised multiple amounts at each promotion and never receive the wage they said they would give in 30, 60 or 90 days after promotion. They do not pay fairly for the work being done. They promise one thing but rarely deliver.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional work environment or fair pay. Not to mention management yelling at other management about how they are specific derogatory words unable to be said and remain professional and threatening them. But others are terminated for "attitude and production." Curious about those production numbers now?
Just for information, I am head of HR and Accounting and work for a welder/fabrication and oil and gas company. I have worked in HR and Accounting for 27 years in multiple fields. Restaurants, Towing, Oil and Gas, Fabrication and at a University with grants and contracts. It is disappointing knowing this corporation treats employees and management as they do. They do not care about anything but money in their pockets. It explains why they have such a high turnover rate with how little employees are valued.
