Was fun at first, but management was DRAMAAAA - Sales Associate Madewell Employee Review

The pay was low. Slow periods were SLOW so you got bored often. Was always struggling to have decent hours; they never had enough. Turnover was high because they took on a lot of part timers who could only work certain days and hours. Most importantly, I worked in two different locations and BOTH of them had major drama between the management. It was cutthroat and gossipy and made the work environment uncomfortable. Also not much opportunity for advancement so if you want to grow here this may not be the company for you.
