Pros

Time off policy is great. Most co-workers are great. Steady paycheck. You can almost never get fired, no matter how many or bad mistakes you make or problems you create. The CEO is a very nice man, however one wonders how much he knows about what is going on within his own company or if he's secretly the person creating the atmosphere behind the scenes.

Cons

Madison is a company that was great to work for and degraded over time. While it was always a little cliquey, and there were directors that argued loudly and openly in office (over what should have been innocuous things), most everyone liked each other and got along and the work got done. Over time, the company moved and something seemed to leave with that building. Namely the soul of the company. They switched to an open office atmosphere. People were given lateral promotions just to give pay raises. Secret marriages were openly secret, which made everyone uncomfortable and some people untouchable, despite how bad they were at their jobs and toxic their professional behavior was and that cliquey atmosphere clicked more and more until it was unbearable and teams and individuals literally hated each other while everyone talks behind everyone else's back and throws everyone else under the bus. There is almost no upward mobility and you wont receive any special treatment or kudos unless not only your nose, but your whole face is brown and smelly. TL:DR - It's a workforce engagement rewards company that neither engages its employees nor rewards them.
