Lots of these reviews have mentioned the turnover rate, and most of those people are only aware of the layoffs in their own departments. It's worse than they realize.
When people would get laid off or quit (the company called them 'exits' to make it sound nicer), I would get a notification about it. Y'all it was daily. Often multiple times daily.
By the end of my time there a large portion of my job was processing these 'Exits' and then getting their replacements set up. I didn't even realize how bad it was until I got a new job which, despite having more employees, doesn't lose nearly as many people.
Also a warning about the 5 star reviews. When I worked there we were regularly asked to leave positive reviews on glassdoor. this means many of the good ones are likely from new (at the time) employees who are caught up in the atmosphere and don't know about the flaws yet.
