Pros
One or two cool people to work with.
Cons
This is where your career dies. There is a severe lack of training of new employees. No logical business processes. The CEO tries to save pennies and then ends up spending way more than he can save. He focuses on cost cutting when really the business will only grow by producing high quality code and hiring people of high quality. There is also an unorganized structure. Half the staff are managers. Who manages who then? Poor work life balance: you are treated like a child, no respect or flexibility to staff needs. You are forced to attend a video meetup every other Thursday. if you dont want to go, you will have some blowback from the CEO. Very high employee turnover - at one point in one quarter we lost more than 60 % of the staff. Its not the staff thats the issue, but in my opinion the CEO has to go. Internal bureaucracies: What can i say. The CEO kills good ideas and chases away quality staff. Poor Benefits and Poor Office environment.
