Pros

Great product! Great management! Great work/life balance! Great people to sell to!

Cons

Sometimes my boss makes me come to the office a few times a week and I have to get up early and shower, so you know, that’s a pretty rough life!

Pros

Management & ownership have always been extremely involved, caring and supportive. Their "give back" mentality is one of the reasons this company is so successful...a very non-selfish culture who care about each other and the world around them. Having worked in this industry for 10 years, I can say their product & customer support are world class. They are passionate about the success of their customer's projects & literally will not accept failure as an option for them.

Cons

Telecommuting from home is extremely difficult at times and also requires a large amount of discipline and/or accountability. That being said, this is a VERY connected company who are always in touch with each other and the different departments work very well with each other. Also, as far as I can tell when doing research, the pay (although you're always in control of your own performance) is lower than the average for certain positions.

Pros

Maintenance Connection is more than just a company supplying an excellent CMMS solution and topnotch customer service to our clientele. It is a fantastic organization for which to work, built upon and upholding of its mission statement and values. We definitely work hard here, but we also play hard. Leadership lives out and regularly encourages and supports all staff in: -Giving Back to our various communities -balancing the demands of work with those of healthy living -growing in our professional skills and abilities -continuously and intentionally developing healthy team dynamics

Cons

If you thrive on rubbing shoulders with co-workers on a daily basis, working for a remote based company may prove to be a bit of a challenge. Within and across various teams, we are in communication with each other all day, so there is definitely a sense of connection (and the company does really well to foster multiple opportunities at getting together). However, there can also be an expected bit of isolation to this type of organizational setup. It works wonderfully for those of us that call MC family, but it may not work for everyone. Additionally, it requires healthy personal disciple to set up and maintain a strict work schedule. However, I think MC has been very skilled at hiring individuals who hold to a high standard of excellence, commitment, integrity and "team" in this area.
