Good pay, good people, they are loyal to those who are loyal to them. Very approachable management/ownership. accepting of good ideas, no matter who brings them.
Cons
If you like to spend months away from home, smoke or chew, drink, and sleep around, you'll fit right into the industry. Working for this company (and the industry in general), makes it difficult to make plans outside work, since the work schedule changes often, sometimes daily, even several times a day, as to start time, length of shift, how many days/week, whether you'll get time off or not, and in what city/state you'll be working. This is not a job for those who need to be home every night or every weekend, or every month. Without a supportive family, you would likely lose your family, because the schedule is brutal on family life. Conditions are hot in summer, cold in winter, loud, and dangerous. But where else can a person with no formal education earn over $100K in the first year?
