Best - Associate Reporter Major League Baseball (MLB) Employee Review

Pros

A dream come true for many. Associate reporters (interns) are treated like a regular beat writer alongside the full-time reporter. You report on everything from daily games to massive news such as manager/GM firings, depending on which team you get assigned to. A fantastic experience for those who are lucky enough to be accepted into the program.

Cons

Pay isn't fantastic. Sometimes you feel a little biased as an employee of the league. But that's hardly a factor -- you do report negative news if the team is performing poorly.
