Pros

The culture, the management, the family aspect. It's tough to find a company that cares about you like Highmetric does. It's really up to you to prove that you're a great consultant. They give you the tools and the training to go only so far in learning ServiceNow, but that's the same with many developer's lives. You learned the base knowledge in college, and then you moved onto learning things on your own. If you don't have that drive to learn on your own, sadly this may not be the job for you. If you like being spoon-fed information or solutions, this is not the job for you. You will only end up unhappy because you're overworked (many times it means you're taking too long to find a solution). Overall, a solid company to work for. In this day and age, it's expected that people leave after some time (1-2 years). Come for the hard work, knowledge, alcohol, and family.

Cons

Long story short, if you don't like people or hard work, this is not the right job for you. You're going to be put in situations where you'll be stressed, but whether or not you overcome it is strictly up to your attitude and your skill.

Pros

The leadership team is engaged, the people are incredible, remote flexibility and excellent benefits. I was always treated with respect and loved my time there! Would highly recommend.

Cons

Easy to feel disconnected in consulting.

Pros

As it pertains to getting work done, I had a good experience. Though I would likely need to sync up with team members that were less capable than I for reporting purposes. I am not 100% sure this was everyone’s experience but it was mine. Mostly I was left alone to complete my work.

Cons

Management and the PMs had a “helicopter” style. I would ask for support frequently however they would only involve themselves if there was a problem. If memory serves, Management was not reachable and the only incident where we communicated was when I was let go during a layoff. This was obviously poor form on their part and they apologized.
