Terrible work live environment - Account Executive Makovsky Employee Review

Makovsky hires very capable and enthusiastic individuals who love their work. They're smart and worth their salt. For someone starting out, you can learn a lot very quickly. As long as you're passionate and prove yourself in your performance, you are given opportunities to stretch and get out of your comfort zone. It's tough, but you'll learn very quickly what you're made of.

Each practice has serious management problems that need to be addressed if they are to retain their talent. There has been a lot of talk about "culture" although nothing has really been done to fix it, and it trickles down from the top. Employees here work hard and deliver. In some practices, managers let their egos get in the way and employees feel unappreciated. In other practices, the lack of processes and structure result in a sink-or-swim culture. Turnover is VERY high. Anyone who succeeds here will very easily be able to find employment elsewhere with better pay and benefits, and better culture.
