The best thing to work in Makpetrol is that you can learn a lot. They work on so many different projects, that make your knowledge on another level. They take care about improving your skills every year, so they send you often to the required courses. No overtime working. Relax working atmosphere.

Long time will be needed to get higher position or bonuses. After awhile you will feel melancholic working this job. There might be conflicts since there are still older generation of programmers who want to dominate their opinion. Using of older technologies (cobalt, clipper, visual basic 6), but most of them are being rebuilt from the beginning.

Really cool and interesting job! Dynamic workspace and fun colleagues, at least in my office.

Cons: Very old IT infrastructure and very reluctant to changing things. The senior workers are unable to grasp that we are in a fast changing environment and that we really need to get things done quickly, efficiently and with least steps. Plus some other things, but maybe next time.
