Product is great for consumers/small businesses but Malwarebytes has been touting "Enterprise readiness" for the past 3+ years and it has gotten nowhere. Trying to play in the A-league when they are D-league at best. Can't attract better engineering/product candidates when both product and pay are so poor. Malwarebytes considers certain other vendors to be huge competitors but after talking to those companies, Malwarebytes isn't even on their radar. They do not care about this company because they don't consider it a threat! That should say a lot.
Leadership turnover and changes are incredibly high. In addition, leadership does not know what they are doing, does not care about employees at all, and resort to micro management of irrelevant things. In sales, they prefer high volume calls/activities over less calls but higher quality ones. No wonder hitting numbers has been such a challenge. WFH is frowned upon as a whole and remote work is very inflexible.
Every company has its own politics and favorites but here its amplified 100x...if you are a puppet and choose to never voice your opinions, you will be rewarded. CEO and execs refuse to listen to negative employee feedback and will only look at good reviews and say "oh we are doing great, no need for any changes!"
Before signing here, do your research and network. Talk to previous employees, get some insight. Look at the turnover in sales. Research competitors and compare the product, marketing, messages, teams, etc. Think about why this company is having such a hard time breaking into enterprise and getting any sort of funding to better the product AND pay employees.
