Pros
If you’re lucky to have a great team, you can enjoy daily work here. It’s not an aggressive selling culture or customer service based so it can be relaxing as opposed to other retail jobs. The PTO is fair, and when you do bonus it is decent. If you want to learn here, YOU CAN. It’s very easy to move up and you can be creative in visual merchandising if you enjoy that.
Cons
Horrible company to work for, the pay is cents over minimum wage and is insulting for what is expected of you. Don’t expect to be appreciated, thanked, or even told that you’ve done a good job. It can be very hard mentally and physically working here at times, a great staff can help ease some of the horrible parts of the job but ultimately it doesn’t help too much. I loved the store, my staff, the customers and my job but it is just not worth working here. It is a waste of your time and labor. The company will not budge on wage, it’s fighting tooth and nail for a quarter. Payroll is being cut shorter and shorter everyday with more and more foot traffic.
