Pros

If you are a hard worker who wants to make your own opportunities and really take ownership of your career, Manifest is the place for you. You will be rewarded with opportunities to work on new clients and projects and other developments. But, with the company culture/infrastructure still evolving, you'll need to take ownership of this yourself. The President works hard and is trying to make the place better. He says he has an open-door policy, and it is truly the case.

Cons

Leadership definitely plays favorites with the staff. Certain senior members hire too many of their friends from past agencies without a serious consideration of whether those people are the right ones for the job. But this stuff is pretty inconsequential if you're focused on your clients and your own career development.

Pros

Nice, smart people, collaborative environment.

Cons

Jobs are very subject to market volatility. When brands don't make money, they often cut back on content.

Pros

Most colleagues are nice and collaborative. Decent benefits. Competitive pay for an agency. Flexible work environment.

Cons

Post-merger layoffs spread out over several months. Homogeneous culture with minimal diversity. Laid off “for performance” after confirming upcoming PTO for a religious holiday that was only days away (and that I had requested months in advance), so take that as you will. Had to fight for unemployment benefits afterward. From a business standpoint, minimal client diversity. One major client rules the roost and causes reevaluation of staff and resources on quarterly basis. Not a sustainable business model in the current economic climate.
