Pros
Was a great work life balance initially. Most of my colleagues were great to work with and had plenty of opportunities to try things.
Cons
Cannot freely discuss salaries and when it’s raised the answer is always “you’re paid market rate” with no evidence/research shown to support this. HR most definitely run the show all the way through. Feels as though every single conversation, team meeting, company catchup, social catchup and work related project is heavily HR influenced. Very cautious of upsetting the wrong person or speaking freely. Felt as though I no longer mattered to the business and was a burden to keep around rather than properly supported.
